Sometimes art speaks to us, and when that happens, we know that it's the right piece to bring into our space. I often get that feeling when I run across a Burls sculpture. I hope to give you and others that same feeling that I get when I see a Burls sculpture when you see one of mine. I am Anghel Bucur, Sculptor. My hope is to create a 'must have' feeling in the residents of Mulmur, BC, Canada.

I create each of my sculptures with love, care, and passion. I am passionate about my art. When I have a massive block of wood and begin sculpting, it's almost like the wood is guiding me. The wood knows what it should be, and it uses me to sculpt it. I would never show a piece that I was not extremely proud of. I have always loved art. I can't even remember a time when I didn't.
